AUSPICIOUSNESS OF THE KALMA TAYYEBA

Fazayel-e-Kalma Tayyeba

In the context of remembering Allah, He says, “وَلَذِکْرُ اللہِ اَکْبَرُؕ  ”

Translation: “And no doubt, the remembrance of Allah is the greatest. ”

In the context of remembering His beloved Prophet Mohammed, )(Salla Allahu 'alayh wasalam)  He says  وَ رَفَعْنَا لَکَ ذِکْرَکَ ؕ﴿۴﴾  Translation: And We have exalted for you your remembrance.

The nobility of the remembrance of Allah and Prophet Mohammed Salla Allahu 'alayh wasalam) and the spiritual height of such a remembrance, when turned into a spiritual panacea, can together become a recipe for the most exalted holy remembrances. 

لَااِلٰہَ اِلّااللّٰہُ مُحَمَّدُ رَّسُوْلُ اللّٰہ   افضل الذکر  ”

      “Afzalulzikr Laa Ilaaha Illallahu Mohammedur rasullullah”

 لَااِلٰہَ اِلّااللّٰہُ   is Allah’s claim. مُحَمَّدُ رَّسُوْلُ اللّٰہِ  is the proof of it.

   The proof of a claim is as strong as the claim, itself.

There is a narrative from Hazrat Jabir (Radi Allahu anhu)that Prophet Mohammed (Salla Allahu 'alayh wasalam) had said that

لَااِلٰہَ اِلّااللّٰہُ مُحَمَّدُ رَّسُوْلُ اللّٰہ   افضل الذکر  ”

           “The best remembering of Laa Ilaaha Illallahu Mohammadur rasullullah”

                                            (Ibne maja & Nisai)

There is a narrative from Hazrat Abu Bakar Siddique (Radi Allahu anhu)that Prophet Mohammed (Salla Allahu 'alayh wasalam) had said that He had heard from Jibrail Ale salam that Allah said that, on the entire Earth among all the ‘Kalmas’, the ‘Kalma Tayyeba’ is unmatchable.

Du to the auspiciousness of Kalma Tayyeba all the matter of the Earth, the skies and the universes is constant. In reality, only the Kalma Tayyeba stands for love, sincerity, a cure, nobleness. It is the best. In the Quran, this Kalma is called by many names for example Kalmae Islam, Kalmae Eimaan, Kalmae Nijaat, Kalmae Taqwa, Kalmae Tauheed & Risalat, Kalmae Tayyeb so on.

Mulla Ali Qaari (Radi Allahu anhu)says that there is no doubt that, among all the remembrances, the Kalma Tayyeba is the best and important it is this very same Kalma Tayyeba that is the foundation of Islam. It is this Kalma around which Islam revolves. Due to this fact, the saints consider this Kalma as the most important, and, among all the remembrances, give it the top preference. They incourage you to recite the Kalma Tayyeba to maximum possible extent, and as a holy exercise. There are plenty of benefits of this Kalma Tayyeba among all the Kalmas.

Hazrat Shaikh Abdul haq Mohaddis dahalvi (Radi Allahu anhu) says that, among all the remembrances the

لَااِلٰہَ اِلّااللّٰہُ مُحَمَّدُ رَّسُوْلُ اللّٰہِ

Laa Ilaaha Illallahu Mohammedur rasullullah has the maximum explanation in details. Although the number of remembrances is infinite, the Kalma Tayyeba is the best and perfect.

لَااِلٰہَ اِلّااللّٰہُ مُحَمَّدُ رَّسُوْلُ اللّٰہِ   

Laa Ilaaha Illallahu Mohammedur rasullullah is the Kalmae Tauheed. Without this Kalma, it is impossible for your beliefs to be correct. The more your obsession with Kalma Tayyeba, the more your heart and soul get purified. All the secrets open up; These secrets are called Secrets of Allah. There are special truths within the Kalma Allah says that in the Quran,

اَلَمْ تَرَکَیۡفَ ضَرَبَ اللہُ مَثَلًاکَلِمَۃً طَیِّبَۃً کَشَجَرَۃٍ طَیِّبَۃٍ اَصْلُہَا ثَابِتٌ وَّفَرْعُہَا فِیۡ السَّمَآءِ ﴿ۙ۲۴﴾

تُؤْتِیۡۤ اُکُلَہَا کُلَّ حِیۡنٍۭ بِاِذْنِ رَبِّہَا ؕ ﴿۲۵﴾  

Translation: Did you not see that how Allah has explained the example of the holy word (Kalma Tayyebaa) like a clean tree whose root is firmly standing and branches are in the heaven. It gives its fruit at all times by the command of its Lord. (Surah Ibrahim 14-Aayat 24-25)

The root of the Kalma Tayyeba is the soil of a ‘Momin’ this root is firmly ensconced in a momin ‘s soil. The fruits and the auspiciousness of the Kalma Tayyeba are ever-available.

وَمَثَلُ کَلِمَۃٍ خَبِیۡثَۃٍ کَشَجَرَۃٍ خَبِیۡثَۃِۣ جْتُثَّتْ مِنۡ فَوْقِ الۡاَرْضِ مَا لَہَا مِنۡ قَرَارٍ ﴿۲۶﴾

Translation: And the example of evil word is like an evil tree uprooted from the earth, now it has no stability.

(Surah Ibrahim 14- Aayat 26)

    Because parable of an evil root is not ensconced, and its branches don’t touch the sky; it is baseless and doesn’t have a proof, confirmation and auspiciousness to reach the height.

یُثَبِّتُ اللہُ الَّذِیۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا بِالْقَوْلِ الثَّابِتِ فِی الْحَیٰوۃِ الدُّنْیَا وَ فِی الۡاٰخِرَۃِ ۚ

Translation: Allah keeps firm the believers on right word in the life of the world .      (Surah Ibrahim 14- Aayat 27)

Hazrat Abu Qatada R.D.A says that, if there is a something in the world that is truest, it is the Kalma Tayyeba. The Kalma Tayyeba is only a answer of all questions which are asked in your grave. Because your grave is the first step towards judgment day. There death will be on their beliefs.

لَہٗ دَعْوَۃُ الْحَقِّ ؕ

Translation: Calling to Him alone is true (Surah Raed Aayat 14)

It is translated from Hazrat Ali (Radi Allahu anhu)and Hazrat Ibn Abbas (Radi Allahu anhu)that to invite people toward Allah is an evidence of the Kalma Tayyeba.

فَاَنۡزَلَ اللہُ سَکِیۡنَتَہٗ عَلٰی رَسُوۡلِہٖ وَ عَلَی الْمُؤْمِنِیۡنَ وَ اَلْزَمَہُمْ کَلِمَۃَ التَّقْوٰی وَ کَانُوۡۤا اَحَقَّ بِہَا وَ اَہۡلَہَا ؕ

Translation: then Allah sent down His tranquillity on His Messenger and on the believers and made incumbent on them the words of righteousness and they were better entitled to it and more worthy of it     (Surah Fatah 48- Aayat 26)

Hazrat Ali (Radi Allahu anhu)Hazrat Umer Farooque (Radi Allahu anhu)Hazrat Abu Hurera (Radi Allahu anhu)and Hazrat Abbas (Radi Allahu anhu)have copied from Prophet Mohammed (Salla Allahu 'alayh wasalam) that ‘Kalmae Taqwa’ means Kalma Tayyeba.

وَتَمَّتْ کَلِمَتُ رَبِّکَ صِدْقًا وَّعَدْلًا ؕ لَا مُبَدِّلَ لِکَلِمٰتِہٖۚ وَ ہُوَ السَّمِیۡعُ الْعَلِیۡمُ ﴿۱۱۵﴾

Translation: And Complete is the word of your Lord in veracity and justice. There is no one to change His words: and He is the Hearer, the Knower.   (Surah Inaam 6- Aayat 115)

It has been narrated from Hazrat Abu Hurera (Radi Allahu anhu)that he had said, “Ya Rasullulla, (Salla Allahu 'alayh wasalam) who will have the maximum amount of your love and protection on the Day of Judgment?” Prophet Mohammed (Salla Allahu 'alayh wasalam) said, “I knew that you would be the first person to ask me such a question. You are the most-eager to know about the Hadith On Judgment Day, a person who remembers

لَااِلٰہَ اِلّااللّٰہُ مُحَمَّدُ رَّسُوْلُ اللّٰہِ  

Laa Ilaaha Illallahu Mohammedur rasullullahe in his every breath will get my maximum love and protection.” (Bukhari sharif)

There is a narrative from Hazrat Anas (Radi Allahu anhu)that Prophet Mohammed (Salla Allahu ‘alayh wasalam)(Salla Allahu ‘alayh wasalam)S.A.W had said that, on the Judgment Day, Allah will order that those who had chanted the Kalma Tayyeba and had even an iota of beliefs in their hearts shall be brought out of hell. (Haakim)

Hazrat Abdulla Ibne Abbas (Radi Allahu anhu)    says that when you recite

لَااِلٰہَ اِلّااللّٰہُ مُحَمَّدُ رَّسُوْلُ اللّٰہِ

Laa Ilaaha Illallahu Mohammedur rasullullahe regularly, you will lose the fear of your death, in your final moments. You will not get afraid in your grave. On the judgment Day you will not feel any anxiety. In fact, Hazrat Abdulla Ibne Abbas (Radi Allahu anhu)can see a scenario in which those who had recited

 لَااِلٰہَ اِلّااللّٰہُ مُحَمَّدُ رَّسُوْلُ اللّٰہِ

Laa Ilaaha Illallahu Mohammedur rasullullahe will rise from their graves and will shake off the soil over their heads. The death, while removing the mud, will thank Allah, profusely for freeing them their problems, obstacles and miseries.

There is a narrative from Hazrat Abu Hurera (Radi Allahu anhu)that the Prophet, Mohammed, (Salla Allahu 'alayh wasalam)  had said that you should recite Laa Ilaaha Illallahu Mohammedur rasullullahe as much you can, before you reach a stage wherein you can’t recite it at all. (Abul aili)                                          

Prophet Mohammed (Salla Allahu 'alayh wasalam) had said that when any person says,

لَااِلٰہَ اِلّااللّٰہُ مُحَمَّدُ رَّسُوْلُ اللّٰہِ

Laa Ilaaha Illallahu Mohammedur rasullullahe, “at the time of his death, he will be admitted to heaven in other revelation or Hadith, the Prophet states that, when a person recites Laa Ilaaha Illallahu Mohammedur rasullullahe with his heart and soul, and dies immediately thereafter, there is no way that he will not go to heaven. (Bukhari sharif & Muslim sharif)

The Prophet(Salla Allahu 'alayh wasalam)  had once told Hazrat Abu Hurera (Radi Allahu anhu)to go to find a person who recites لَااِلٰہَ اِلّااللّٰہُ “Laa Ilaaha Illallahu’’ with his heart, soul and a very firm belief; if he would find such a person, he (Hazrat Abu Hurera R.D.A) should give such a man the good news of heaven.  (Muslim sharif)

Hazrat Usman Ghani (Radi Allahu anhu)narrates that Prophet Mohammed(Salla Allahu 'alayh wasalam)  said that a person who has a complete belief in Laa Ilaaha Illallahu Mohammedur rasullullahe goes to heaven

Hazrat Talha (Radi Allahu anhu) had said that he who understand the Kalma Tayyeba will go to heaven. (Haakim)

Imaame rabbani mujaddide alfe saani sheikh ahmed sir hindi (Radi Allahu anhu) said that narrow minded people wonder how, by merely chanting

لَااِلٰہَ اِلّااللّٰہُ   “Laa Ilaaha Illallahu’’ a person will go to heaven. These people are not familiar with the auspiciousness of the Kalma Tayyeba. This saint has felt that, if whole universe is forgiven because of auspiciousness of this Kalma Tayyeba, and will go to heaven, so it is possible. It has been observe that, if the auspiciousness of the Kalma Tayyeba is distributed throughout all creation, it gives sufficiencies to all creation, and makes the universe bloom. When the Kalma Tayyeba is combined with مُحَمَّدُ رَّسُوْلُ اللّٰہِ “Mohammedur rasul lullah’’ the former becomes even greater; the knowledge that Allah is One gets combined with the Kalma; sainthood and prophethood become the companions of this kalma. Collectively the combination of these two Kalmas is the greatest height of sainthood and prophethood.

The Kalma Tayyeba is the guiding leader of sainthood and prophethood. This the kalma that purifies sainthood from the darkness. It lifts prophethood to its maximum height. Oh Allah please do not leave us without the auspiciousness of the Kalma. Please keep us constantly with the Kalma. Let us die only after we understood the Kalma completely. We are asking to Allah for the ability to respect the Kalma and to spread its message and to reach heaven to the all prophets’s auspiciousness.

ثَمَنُ الْجَنَّۃِ لاَ اِلٰہَ اِلاَّ اللّٰہُ مُحَمَّدُ رَسُول اللّٰہِ

“Samanul jannati Laa Ilaaha Illalahu Mohammadur rasoolullah”

Prophet Mohammed (Salla Allahu 'alayh wasalam)  said that, the value of heaven is in reciting and understanding the Kalma.

There is narrative from Hazrat Maaz Bin Jabal (Radi Allahu anhu) that Prophet Mohammed (Salla Allahu 'alayh wasalam)  said that the evidence of Kalma is the key to heaven.               (Musnad Imaam Ahmed)

Hazrat wahab Bin Mumba (Radi Allahu anhu) was asked whether or not the Kalma Tayyeba was his key to heaven. He said, “yes it is the key but every key has god configurations. The lock of heaven will open only with a configurated key.

(Bukhari sharif)  The meaning of such a configuration is to understand the Kalma with your heart, and to recite it with your tongue.

There is a narrative from Hazrat Huzefa (Radi Allahu anhu)that Prophet Mohammed(Salla Allahu 'alayh wasalam)   has said that, one day there will be a period with Islam will become so obscure that it will look like a garment whose design has become obscure due to frequent washings. Nobody will understand ‘Roza’, ‘Haj’ or ‘zakaat’. There will come a night when the Quran will become invisible and none of its aayat will remain. At such a time old men and women will say, “we had heard our elders recite  لَااِلٰہَ اِلّااللّٰہُ Laa Ilaaha Illallah

 “We will also recite it.” Salaa (Radi Allahu anhu), a student of Hazrat Huzefa (Radi Allahu anhu), asked, “when haj, Roza, and zakaat will cease to exist what will be the use of Kalma?” Hazrat Huzefa (Radi Allahu anhu)remained silent. Salaa(Radi Allahu anhu) again said, “why are you silent.” Salaa (Radi Allahu anhu) also asked, “when no pillar of Islam remain, what will be the use of reciting the Kalma?” But the third time, Huzefa (Radi Allahu anhu)spoke, “the Kalma will save you from hell! the Kalma will save you from hell! the Kalma will save you from hell!”

Even when no pillar of Islam remain, the Kalma Tayyeba will protect you from hell.
